Applications & Permits

All municipalities need applications and permits to keep things running smoothly, and having these documents available online helps make things easier for residents. That's where these downloads can help. They're PDF files that include all the particulars of the most commonly requested applications and permits. Scroll down for the name of each application or permit, and a chance to click and download your own copy, which you can print, fill out, and return to the municipal office. *IMPORTANT NOTE: Fire Permits are required from April 1 to December 31 for all burning, including campfires. Visit the office to fill out your free fire permit.

To apply for a permit to construct you will be required to provide two sets:

-completed application with date and signature.

-drawings of proposed structure including foundation details, structural details, and all elevations.  

-If it is a steel or other engineered structure, provide all the drawings from the manufacture.

-Site plan showing where the structure will be located with measurements to All 4 lot lines, as well as to your house/cottage, and any other structure.

-Pictures of paperwork are not accepted. PDF format only.

-send everything together to avoid delays.

-all paperwork can be dropped at your local Municipal Office

All payments required, will be payable at the Municipality of record for the build.
