Earth Day

Public Health Sudbury & District (PHSD) is promoting that people with private water supplies, both surface water or a well, check and do regular maintenance on their water systems. This means test your drinking water every year.

FIRE PERMITS are available at the office any time during the day from 8:30 to 4:30. If you want to have a fire you need one. No exceptions. And they are free.

The Gore Bay Fire Department serves the Municipality of Gordon/Barrie Island and the Town of Gore Bay. The Fire Chief is Mike Addison.

We are proud to support the Manitoulin Northshore Victim Service based in Little Current. Please visit their website at https://www.mnvictimservices.ca/

The golf course is located in the Municipality of Gordon/Barrie Island. This nine-hole course is open from May to October. Also, there is now a driving range to practice your shots before hitting the course. Saving balls takes practice!
